Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat

Fiberglass chopped strand mat is a non-woven mat product made from alkali-free or medium-alkali glass fibers. It is produced by chopping continuous glass fiber strands into 50 mm lengths, which are then randomly and uniformly distributed, and bonded with powdered polyester binder (or emulsion binder). Fiberglass chopped strand mat features good compatibility with resin (excellent permeability, easy bubble removal, low resin consumption), easy application (uniformity, easy layering, good mold conformity), high wet strength retention, good light transmittance of laminated panels, and low cost. It is suitable for hand-laid FRP products such as panels, daylighting panels, hulls, bathtubs, cooling towers, anti-corrosion materials, vehicles, etc., and is also applicable for continuous FRP sheet production lines.

Storage Method

Products should be stored in a dry and cool place. If not in use, do not open the packaging or ensure the packaging is tightly sealed to avoid moisture absorption.
